From the M6: Turn off at Junction 37 and take the A684 through Sedbergh following the signs to Hawes.

Still on the A684 for ten miles then turn left at the Moorcock Inn.

From the A1: Turn off at Junction 51- Bedale and follow the A684 along Wensleydale, eventually passing through Hawes and Appersett. About 6 miles turn right after the Moorcock Inn.

 

 

By Bus

There are regular buses from Hawes and Sedbergh that pass right by the Moorcock such as the Dales Bus (855) from Hawes.

By Train

Garsdale station is on the picturesque Settle to Carlisle railway with regular connections to Leeds. It's a 30 min walk to Blades Cottage and 5 minutes by car.
