Walks direct from Blades Cottage
The Pennine Bridleway Cumbria to Derbyshire officially opened in 2012 is the footpath at the top of the hill to the back of the cottage. This footpath is also part of the Lady Anne's Highway another 100mile long distance that runs between Skipton and Penrith
There are many walks directly from Blades Cottage for all abilities. Some are short, some long, some easy and some more challenging. There are quite a few circular walks.
John Carey has detailed 15 of these walks on his website with pictures and maps and many of them pass by or close to Blades Cottage.
He has also detailed walks all over the Dales, plus some wealth of other information of the area.
Also a circular walk by Muddy Boots.
